Self-adhesive cork board 9 mm is very easy to install. It’s easier than simple cork bulletin boards. Just remove a protective film from the cork board and place it in a favorite spot.
Self-adhesive cork board 9 mm is covered on one side with a layer of glue. It is protected by a protective film. To install it, you just need to remove a protective film and find the cork in a favorite spot. The adhesive is odorless and immediately bonded to the surface.
Cork sheets, self-adhesive cork rolls before glueing should be kept at room temperature. It is best to be above 18 degrees Celsius for about 24 hours. The connection must be made in rooms where the temperature is above 18 degrees C.
Before gluing cork boards, cork rolls and removing the protective paper, cork must be further heated. For example, with a dryer and after gluing, press the roller over the entire surface.
Preparation of the surface
Cork rolls must be clean, dry, dust-free (dust, spider webs, etc.) and well prepared.
You shouldn’t attach adhesive cork rolls to a surface with high surface tension. This means that you must previously paint and coat the wall. You can do this with PVC, polyester, polypropylene and polyethylene films.
When connecting several elements, the edges of the cork must also be glued.
